Carin is an associate with Schwartz, McMinimee & Andres, LLC.  Her practice focuses on estate and conservatorship administration and litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Carin was a civil litigator with a focus on construction defect and personal injury law in the Denver metropolitan area for over 13 years. Carin grew up in Marquette, Michigan.  Prior to becoming an attorney, she spent time working as a geophysicist in the oil industry in Houston, TX and Denver, CO and as a professional musician in Michigan and Colorado. Prior to joining the firm, Emily had a 15-year career in charitable planned giving and major gifts fundraising that sparked her interest in elder law. She continued to work full-time in the non-profit sector while completing her law degree as an evening student. Emily was born and raised in Michigan, but has lived and worked in Washington, D.C., Boulder, Seattle, and now Denver. When not in the office, Emily can be found on her yoga mat, taking a hike, or enjoying a powder day on the slopes.

Marcie was born in Greeley, Colorado in 1965. She grew up in Cody, Wyoming and attended Chadron State College in Nebraska where she majored in Criminal Justice. Marcie graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1990 and moved to Oregon. She practiced in Oregon for 12 years where her practice initially included creditor's rights and commercial litigation. She then moved into the areas of elder law, estate planning and administration before moving back to Colorado in 2001. Marcie's practice now emphasizes all aspects of estate, trust and conservatorship administrations, including litigating financial abuse. Marcie is also a Deputy Public Administrator for the City and County of Denver and regularly acts as a fiduciary. Marcie is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, has an AV rating with Martindale Hubbell, and is recognized in the Best Lawyers in America.

Lindsay has been practicing in the areas of estate and trust administration and litigation, estate and business planning, guardianships and conservatorships, and related tax matters since 2001. In addition to practicing in these areas, Lindsay was appointed as a Deputy Public Administrator for the City and County of Denver in 2022, and regularly serves as a fiduciary. Melissa studied overseas and attended the University of London while serving as an intern in the House of Commons in London, England in 1990. Melissa has been practicing in the areas of estate and trust administration and litigation, guardianships and conservatorships, and estate planning since early 1995. In addition to practicing in these areas, Melissa regularly acts as a private fiduciary in the capacities of personal representative, trustee and conservator and is also the Public Administrator for the City and County of Denver. She is a member of the Colorado (Trust and Estate Section - Council Member 2007-2008) and Denver Bar Associations and is a regular speaker on trust and estate related issues and has authored several articles on related subjects.
