Martha J. Ackerman, born in Johnson City, N.Y. on February 18, 1951, has been the Legal Administrator for the law firm since 1997. Marty is a Certified Legal Manager and is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, Mile High Chapter, and the American Bar Association, Legal Management Section. Education: Attended University of Colorado, Brigham Young University and Institute of Religion, and University of Northern Colorado. Marty also has a certificate in Real Estate Closings and is registered with the IRS as a tax preparer.
Ms. Ackerman brings over 30 years of legal experience to the law firm. In addition to her management experience, she has worked as a legal assistant/legal secretary in the following fields of practice: commercial real estate, residential real estate, loan closings, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), collections, divorce, subrogation, and medical malpractice. Marty manages the day-to-day operations of the firm including financial management, accounting, human resources, time and billing, facilities maintenance and systems administration.
